Item Description
7.75x9" sheet of storyboard paper has 6x8.5" sheet of paper stapled to it featuring mixed media concept original art showing an early version of Lady from Disney's 1955 animated film "Lady And The Tramp." Of note, art depicts Lady as more of a generic-looking, almost Beagle like dog rather than the Cocker Spaniel she was depicted as in the finished film. This art dates to c. 1953 and was likely produced prior to the release of a "Lady And The Tramp" book to familiarize audiences w/the characters. Lady angrily reacts and art has stapled strip w/hand-lettered "I'll Tell Them You're Here!" dialog below it. Sheets are evenly aged and have some pin holes/staple holes at corners. Fine overall. Interesting insight into the development of this beloved Disney classic.
