Item Description
9x11.5" setup has hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cels featuring image of Ugly Duckling happily swimming in pond. Setup features four different images of Ugly Duckling, indicating progression of movement. Each Duckling image has been cut out of their respective cels and attached to original Courvoisier provided painted bkg. Grasshopper at left has also been cut from its cel and attached to bkg. From 1939 Silly Symphony, Disney's last. Acetate cover sheet has hand-painted water lines. Cover has slight rippling to edges and edges of bkg. have remnants of tape as well as some aging. Fine overall but would make for nice framed display.
