Item Description
From same series as previous item. Offered here is 4-5/8x7-7/8" pad of 34 "Tomkins Telepad" sheets, each featuring mixed media original art for storyboards for next to last episode of "The World Of Commander McBragg" episode 47, "Lost Valley," which originally aired Jan. 29, 1966. Total Television Productions. Each page is numbered w/typed identification numbers and penciled in scene numbers on some. Page numbers are 1-45. These pads map out the whole cartoon in art and dialogue and were often pulled apart and rearranged as the show came together. Sheets contain the complete episode. Storyline features the Commander working out in gym (first page is fully colored) w/his hula hoop before telling story of how he got it. Crashing his plane, the Commander lands in Lost Valley, where inhabitants offer him as sacrifice to large angry giant. Seeing a thorn in his toe, the Commander removes the thorn and gives him his ring, which the Commander uses as said hula hoop. Heavy and obvious wear to cover page, which has 1x2.25" hole at title area. Outer sheets also have some oxidation to staples. Many inner sheets are near perfect as produced so condition varies from Good to Exc. Any studio used original art from this series is rare and fully colored pages are rarely seen.
