Item Description
10x11.75" sheet of animation paper w/5.25x7" lead/colored pencil original art image area. From the 1942 animated short starring Pluto. Sheet features full body image of him angrily walking away from pile of tin cans. Cartoon featured Pluto disguising himself as army mascot w/hopes of scoring a free meal. Little does he know the mascot (who is a goat) only receives tin cans to eat. Sheet is numbered "5" at lower right and has small "BDT" initials. Right margin has .25" edge folded over, which is aged and has 2-5/8" strip missing at top. Sheet has lt. scattered handling wear and is VG/Fine overall, but art remains clean and Exc. Wonderfully example from one of two Pluto cartoons Carl Barks worked on.
