Item Description
Pair of silk-screened felt pennants. 1940s. 25.5" long pennant (not counting streamers; top streamer loose but attached w/pin) w/image of trio of soldiers marching w/rifles and "Pack Up Japan - The Yanks Are Coming" text. .5" spot of staining at lower left edge. Aside from loose streamer, pennant displays VF/Exc. 29.5" pennant issued after the surrender of Japan read "V.J. Day - Total Victory" and features patriotic "VJ" design at left. Pennant is evenly aged w/a few small spots of staining by left side. Fine/VF. First we've seen of either design in our 52 years.
