Item Description
1940s. 28x42" unusual poster features large stereotypical caricature image of Tojo w/"Nippo-Natzi Say: If Engineer Make Wrong Design - Give Nippo-Natzi Plenty Time" text and area below where specialty text was to be added by poster recipient. This one pertains to engineering designs w/employee's name added to a blank box at bottom right corner. We have not seen this design before and it was most likely that these were printed in this style on purpose so that specific text dealing w/various production issues could be added. Poster was never folded and has been linen-mounted. 1-1/8x1.75" corner replaced at top left w/lower right having .75" piece replaced. .75" and 4" tears at bottom right are only noticeable upon close inspection as now linen-mounted. Poster remains clean and bright and VF for display.
