Item Description
10.5x15.75" artboard has pencil original art by John Buscema that has been inked by Ernie Chan, two of the comic artists most associated w/the Cimmerian's Bronze Age exploits. Art is for page 10 of "Conan The Barbarian" #115, published by Marvel Oct. 1980. Page features five panels, showing Conan and Red Sonja sitting at tavern table, only for Conan to tell Red Sonja to shut up and slapping her across the face. She reacts w/fury, shouting "You Must Be A Madman! No One Strikes Red Sonja!" They draw swords and battle, w/each belittling the other. Conan and Red Sonja both appear in every panel. Top margin has inked issue/page numbers. Back has Marvel copyright stamp. Top left corner has been clipped, but art remains clean and Exc. Great piece of art featuring these two sword and sorcery heroes.
