Item Description
Window box contains 7-3/8" tall DC Direct Batman action figure from Frank Miller's ground-breaking "The Dark Knight Returns" storyline. 2004. Window has been signed in blue felt tip pen by Miller, who adds "For Chip!" Box shows wear w/creases and a slight small puncture to one side panel. VF. Figure is Mint as factory-sealed. Signature is faint as signed on plastic against dark bkg. and is visible mostly in reflected light. Scarce Miller signed piece to a fellow comic book alumni. Comes w/"Dark Knight III: The Master Race" Book 9, which has 1:50 incentive variant cover featuring art by Chip Kidd, who has signed cover in red felt tip pen. NM. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire. Comes w/specially designed and signed Chip Kidd bookplate.
