Item Description
2.25x3". "Shoeless" Joe Jackson is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the game and many believe he was punished unjustly in the famous "Black Sox" scandal. For this reason, he has been kept out of the Baseball Hall Of Fame. However, his skills on the field have never been in question and his popularity continues to soar to this day. Due to his banishment from baseball following the 1920 season, Jackson was only featured in a small number of mainstream sets up to that point. This particular card is highly desirable. This card shows some minor caramel staining common in the Cracker Jack issues, however the image and the reverse of the card are quite bright and have excellent eye appeal despite the assigned grade. The key card in this set.
