Item Description
17-1/8x26.25" thin cardboard poster for June 24 concert (our research shows concert took place in either 1951 or 1956) at Himmelreich's Grove in Womelsdorf, PA that starred Little Jimmy Dickens and His Country Boys. Poster was printed by Posters, Inc. of Philadelphia, PA and features photo image of Dickens playing guitar in front of "WSM" radio microphone. Poster notes "WSM Grand Ole Opry Presents" below marquee showing information. Small inked "1945" date at bottom right corner, but this is before Dickens formed the Country Boys. Poster has 1-3/8x5.75" area of moisture staining at upper left and shows scattered wear at corners. Fine overall.
