Item Description
11-1/8x22-1/8" thin cardboard poster for Feb. 24, 1966 concert that took place at the Rock River Roller Rink in Rockford, IL featuring B.B. King and His Orchestra. Poster was printed by Posters Inc. of Philadelphia, PA and features photo portrait of King beside "The Blues King" crown, a subtle nod to his new nickname, which has replaced his older one "Blues Boy. "ABC-Paramount - Kent Records name at bottom. Poster shows moderate handling wear and scattered aging/dust soiling w/corner foxing and margin wear. Right margin has faint area of moisture staining, affecting photo of King, but not overly distracting. VG/Fine. Rare and one of the most striking B.B. King concert poster we have offered.
