Item Description
27x41" for the original release of the gangster comedy directed by Jack Conway and starring Carole Lombard and Chester Morris. Great stone lithography by Tooker Litho. Co. of New York features glamorous image by Vincentini (Ted Ireland) of Lombard in fancy gown w/additional scene of gold digger Lombard w/her mark and his bodyguard (played by Morris) at lower left. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/color touch-ups added along margins and at fold crease intersection. Pin holes along borders have also been touched-up and margins have been replaced. Moderate restoration to Lombard's thighs and area to the right of her image and bkg. has had scattered airbrushing. As professionally restored and linen-mounted, poster now displays Exc. Very rare one sheet.
