See previous item #2227. Lot includes three prototype Dancing Dolls. 1950s. First is large and impressive 11.5x23.5" tall prototype Dancing Doll depicting Herby from the "Smitty" comic strip and done in same scale as Little Orphan Annie prototype in previous lot. Larger prototype comes w/pair of smaller, matched scale Dancing Doll prototypes; another Herby (this time w/hat) and Denny Dimwit from the "Winnie Winkle" comic strip. All feature mixed media original art. Larger prototype has two die-cut holes at top as designed and is Exc. Smaller prototypes have pair of pin holes at top center and are o/w Exc. Unique lot. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
