Item Description
10.5x13.5" die-cut cardboard store display w/easel back holds 2x5.25" leather cartridge belt containing three 3.25" bullet pens. Everlast Pen Corp. 1940s. Belt has embossed "The Lone Ranger - Hi-Yo Silver - Tonto" names/text w/western border w/portrait images of Lone Ranger and Tonto at left/right. Each pen has a different image/name/color w/text explaining colors - blue for secret codes, red for danger, green is Tonto's pen. Display has lt. age tone on top edge above "Lone Ranger" w/2" crease at upper right corner that breaks surface paper. Scattered wear along bottom margin/corners. Display is Fine overall. Leather holder is aged but Exc. Ink has dried out in pens but Lone Ranger and Tonto are NM. Silver pen has 1/8x1" streak of color missing at right. Silver image is complete but bit of horseshoe is gone. Moderate aging at end cap. Silver pen is VG/Fine while others display Exc. Rare, this the only display example we've seen in our 51 years.
