Item Description
26.5x39" frame contains large and impressive acrylic on canvas painting by Greg Hildebrandt, depicting image of Wonder Woman wearing a combination of her early Golden Age costumes, striking a powerful pose on a New York City rooftop (w/a patriotic Empire State Building and Chrysler Building seen in the bkg.) w/an immense shadow of a Nazi soldier looming behind it all. Wonder Woman points at the viewer w/large "Wake Up, America!" text at bottom, creating a scene reminiscent of many World War II era posters urging vigilance among the American public for Nazi saboteurs. Hildebrandt decided to paint this as an homage to Wonder Woman's 75th Anniversary, beginning this painting in July 2016 and completing it in Oct. 2017. Hildebrandt has signed at lower right. The only solo Wonder Woman painting ever created by Hildebrandt. NM and ready for display. A must have for Wonder Woman fans and sure to become the center of any collection.
