Item Description
Lot of two 3.25x5x.75" deep glass-covered dexterity puzzles and two 4.5x4.5x.75" deep marble puzzles w/illustrated lids. 1940s. Dexterity puzzles feature cartoon images printed on cardboard of Hitler being kicked by horse and soldier shooting at Mussolini and Tojo (w/portraits of Hitler and Mussolini on wall). Glass is secured to cardboard w/paper edges, which have faded w/age. Fine overall. Both are scarce. Boxed marble puzzles are "Trap The Jap In Tokyo" and "Put The Yanks In Berlin" w/illustrated board interiors. "Trap The Jap" graphics match box lid, which shows moderate wear and is Fine overall. "Yanks In Berlin" graphics are of map of Europe. Lid has some scattered edge wear and is VF overall. Both come w/original glass marbles. Mark Treitel Collection.
