Item Description
14-1/8x22" cardboard poster advertising a concert "Sun. Jan. 15" at the "Sports Arena Toledo Ohio" featuring "In Person Count Basie And His Big 17 Piece Orchestra" and "Dinah The Queen Washington". At center is "The Great Joe Williams Battle Of Saxes" w/arrows pointing to "Charlie Ventura And His Many Saxophones", "Flip Phillip Star Of Jazz At The Phil Harmonic" and "Sonny Stitt The New Charlie Parker". Additional act "The Royal Jokers" listed at bottom right. Moderate handling wear most notably some light creases at top and bottom right corners and light brown dots of toning along a 1" wide vertical band at right. Fine. This jazz masterpiece will only be further enhanced once framed. The waterfall design featuring portraits at left and along bottom is one we have never encountered and makes this a true standout of the era.
