Item Description
Lot of four, each about 2-3/8x2-7/8". © 1940Superman Inc. ACC# R146. All w/perforated side margins as these were removed, as intended, from candy boxes. Front panels feature classic Superman breaking chains image while reverse is "Valuable Superman Premium Coupon" w/list of items that could be obtained by sending in the coupons including: Superman Club Kit, Ring, Shirt Emblem and Magazine. One is rwb variety and includes bottom box flap still attached that has Leader info. Small surface paper nick off back margin but front is clean, and displays NM. The other front panel is bw/red variety. Margin wear, EX. The two back panels are from a numbered set of 36 w/art on fronts, text backs. These are #12 "Peril In The Air" and #22 "Twisted Steel." Both have moderate wear w/some surface paper flakes/tears on backs (as separated along perfs). Fronts images not impacted by this and remain clean but w/some uneven margins at right. Good/VG.
