Item Description
11.25x17.25" sheet of paper has pencil preliminary sketch original art by legendary Fantasy/Sci-Fi and comic book artist Greg Hildebrandt. Titled "The Wolfman Meets His Match," art shows the classic Universal Monster clutching a busty beauty in his claws under the moonlight, her cross necklace dangling over her shoulder. One of two or three preliminary sketches done by Hildebrandt before settling on a final design, this piece evokes both the Horror and Romance genre nicely, w/the Wolfman snarling at his victim, but also cradling her gently in his arms. Art was created Nov. 2010. Penciled title at bottom, just below Hildebrandt's pencil signature. Exc. Of note, back of sheet has mirrored image of woman's face in pencil.
