Item Description
12x16" mat has 9-7/8x14" artboard taped to back of mat w/white paper tape. Artboard features pen and ink original art for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Vol. 1 #22 by Mark Martin, published by Mirage Studios in June, 1989. Page features six panels and shows Splinter in three, first confronting Raphael, who has been turned into a machine. Raphael reveals he dreamt about April being in danger only for a bomb to explode. They are then joined by the other three Turtles, who are also robots, having been obliterated by the explosion, Splinter salvaged their brains and whatever else he could to put them into the machine bodies seen here. Artboard is lightly aged but Exc. and ready for framing.
