Item Description
Pair of 13-1/8x19-5/8" thin artboards, both w/pen and ink original art by Bill Vigoda. Art is for "Pureheart The Powerful" #2 published by Archie Comics in Nov. 1966. "The Demon Dropout" Story deals w/a school dropout returning and turning the Riverdale bunch into overgrown infants, leaving Pureheart the Powerful and Evilheart to come to the rescue. Art is for page 20 and 21, both featuring five panels. Page 20 features Pureheart in four of the five panels, Evilheart in four; page 21 has Pureheart in two panels, Evilheart in one. Art has been inked by Mario Acquaviva. Backs of both artboards have Comics Code Authority approval stamps w/date. Title, issue number and page number are inked at top margin of each. Art remains clean and Exc. overall. Art comes w/matching pair of 7-7/8x11" color guides for these pages. VF/Exc.
