Item Description
11.25x16.25" color key for use in printing "For Your Consideration" type ad for Academy Awards in Jan. 18, 1978 issue of "Daily Variety" trade publication. Top sheet features great behind-the-scenes photo of "Star Wars" director George Lucas behind the camera as well as faint 20th Century Fox logos. Bottom has typed text noting film title, publication title, "Best Director" designation and date. Text on second sheet includes three testimonials as well as noting Lucas as "Golden Globe Nominee - Best Director." Some lt. scattered handling wear/aging. VF overall. While Lucas did not win Best Director Oscar, his film did win seven Academy Awards. A unique piece to frame.
