Item Description
10x11.5" cardboard cover contains set of six 78-RPM records released by The Gramophone Co. Ltd. (an RCA affiliate) of England in 1936. Cover and all records have "His Masters Voice" text and Nipper logo. Spine has label reading "Mickey Mouse & Silly Symphonies" w/small Mickey Mouse image. Choice paper label on front cover depicts Mickey, Donald Duck and Fifer Pig on a spinning record. Inside front cover has attached plate w/image of Mickey carrying a stack of records. This doubles as a nameplate, w/name neatly inked on provided line. Inside back cover has attached plate of Mickey holding picture featuring Nipper logo design. Album has six bound-in paper sleeves to hold the records. Each record features same label illustration of Mickey, Donald and Fifer Pig dancing. As noted on the cover, recordings are from the actual sound films. Films represented in either one or two parts are "Who Killed Cock Robin, The Orphans Benefit, Mickey's Grand Opera, Three Little Wolves, Three Little Pigs, Mickey's Moving Day, The Grasshopper And The Ants, Lullaby Land" and "The Pied Piper." Album cover shows just lt. wear. VF/Exc. Records have just lt. wear from use. A very clean, Exc. example of this truly outstanding set. Among the rarest and most desirable of all Disney records.
