April 1966 issue of "The National Magazine Of The Toy Trade." 8.75x11.5" w/176 pages. As 1966 was the year Batmania took hold, this publication features a number of Batman items. They include - Bantamlite flashlights (flip and wrist models), a two-page spread featuring classic image from cover of "Batman" #9 w/images of Oil Paint, Rub-On, Pencil Craft, Pencil and Paint Craft and Stardust sets as well as Marble Maze and "Batman And Robin Board Game" and "Batman And Robin Target Game" by Hasbro, Bat-Chute for bicycles, Irwin motorcycle as well as full page Irwin ad w/Batplane, Batcopter, pedal motorcycle, "Batman Club Horn" and "Batman Wingo" sets, Hazelle's Batman and Robin marionettes and other Batman items including Colorforms, Arlington novelty hat and licensing information. Toy Fair article mentions/pictures Captain Action. Other highlights include a two-page spread of GI Joe w/Space Capsule and additional images of foreign soldier Joes on another page as well as items for Disney, Matchbox, early Jim Henson Muppets dolls, spy toys, etc. Cover shows scattered aging/wear w/2.25" tear at top of spine and scattered staining/rust soiling w/some insect damage to front cover. VG overall, but contents remain clean and Exc.
