Item Description
Lot of 12 postcards, each 3.5x5.5". 11 are from numbered series released by Inter-Art Co. and Woolstone Bros. Remaining card is unnumbered. All 1930s. Some cards feature references to Mickey Mouse films distributed by Ideal Films Ltd. on backs. All feature choice art of Mickey and/or Minnie Mouse. Some cards of note include Mickey holding pop gun w/angry-looking cat wearing German style helmet behind him, Mickey holding dagger and jabbing heavy-set pig, making him leap into the air, "Three Blind Mice" w/three Mickeys, all smoking cigars (one holds liquor bottle). Of the 12, eight have been used. Scattered handling wear and aging. VF to Exc. overall. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
