Item Description
Glossy 8x9-7/8" publicity photo shows American actor, singer, dancer and musician Scatman Crothers (1910-1986), known for his work as Louie the Garbage Man on the TV show "Chico And The Man" and as Dick Hallorann in Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining." Crothers is also noted for his voice acting for cartoons, supplying the voices of Meadowlark Lemon in the "Harlem Globetrotters," the Autobot Jazz in "The Transformers," the title character in "Hong Kong Phooey" and Scat Cat in the animated Disney film "The Aristocats." Photo has been boldly signed in black felt tip pen, w/Crothers adding "To - Maria - Scatman Crothers - Thanks" inscription/signature. Photo has some scattered handling wear and is VF overall, though signature displays Exc. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
