Item Description
5.25x21" thin artboard w/India ink art by "Alley Oop" creator V.T. Hamlin. Art is for Feb. 24, 1939 daily strip and features five assembled panels (attached on reverse w/aged tape), all featuring Alley Oop's friend Foozy in boat at sea w/Zel. Two panels show Foozy fighting an angry Plesiosaur, ramming his oar into the creature's fanged mouth. NEA Service, Inc. copyright strips in fourth panel. Pin holes at corners. Back has stamped release schedule w/some penciled notes. Blank margins have a few pencil notes, but art remains Exc.
