Item Description
Lot of five pieces, including four plates and pitcher. All Bavarian-made, 1930s. These Bavarian pieces were imported into the US by the Schumann Company of New York City. Pair of 6" dia. plates, one w/Minnie Mouse at center and surrounded by five smaller Minnie images; other w/Mickey Mouse playing piano at center and surrounded by two smaller Mickey images and one smaller Minnie image as well as two cat images. Pair of larger, 7.5" dia. plates feature different Mickey and Minnie images at center, also w/different smaller border images. "Minnie Mouse" plate is scarcer piece. All have standard "Mickey Mouse - Authorized By Walter E. Disney - Made In Bavaria" mark w/full figure Mickey image on undersides. All have gold luster rim accent. 4" tall pitcher w/gold luster Mickey Mouse text on underside features same image of Mickey playing accordion as seen on larger plate, though in smaller scale.
