Item Description
24x39" poster features art by Paul Martial showing map of England and France, w/image of passenger ship in the English Channel and rail lines from London to Southampton and from La Havre to Paris. Inset image shows sleeping compartment for French State and Southern Railways regular night service. c. 1930. Horizontal fold at center w/some minor color touch-ups. Margins show some scattered wear w/tiny corner tip off at upper left and barely visible 2.25" tear that has been repaired. Poster has been linen-mounted and as such, displays VF. Rare.
