Item Description
8.5x11" program w/16 pages for Arizona concert event produced by Bobby Boyd Production of Phoenix. 1967. Bands featured within include - The Seeds, Jon & Robin, The In Crowd, Ray Peterson, Dearly Beloved, P-Nut Butter and The Spiders. The Spiders was the second name of Alice Cooper's band (replacing The Earwigs), featuring Vince Furnier (Cooper's birth name), Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce, Glen Buxton and John Speer (though Speer left the band later in 1967). Page devoted to The Spiders features photo of the band and has been signed by Alice Cooper in black felt tip pen. Second to last page (marked "Autographs") has been signed in black ink (that has aged to brown) by Michael Bruce, who has added "The Spiders" band name. Of note, Spiders page mentions that the band has recently changed their name to The Nazz and mentions them joining The Who, Young Rascals on tour. Staples have some oxidation w/minor staining to pages at these areas. Pinch creases to spine. Fine overall w/VF pages. A rare and historic program, further enhanced by signatures of two members of the band. Comes with Hake's COA and Roger Epperson/REAL LOA.
