Item Description
This imaginative creation was made in the 1990s by noted craftsman/restorer Jim Miller using a large 1950s steel express wagon. 17.25x36.25x5" deep wagon body is painted in contrasting black/white colors on bed/wheels and has chrome-plated rail around the back bed portion. Large steerhead images are at front/rear as well as plated conchos w/raised Hopalong Cassidy images on both sides at the rear. Also attached to both sides of wagon are Wyandotte holsters w/large conchos, studs and plastic jewels holding a matched pair of Wyandotte cap guns. Guns are 8" long nickel-plated die-cast. Guns features scrollwork to gun frames and barrels w/raised "Hopalong" name on gun frames and ivory plastic grips have incised "Hopalong Cassidy" portrait/name w/metal "Y&." rebus medallions. Guns fire and have seen lt. use. VF overall. One holster has loose seam on one pocket side and other holster has had a small piece of pocket at top reattached w/glue. Holsters are Fine but both still hold guns for display. All conchos, the holsters and guns are all original 1950s issues.  Wagon, wheels, etc. are NM as created.
