Item Description
One of a kind grouping of the pieces involved in creating the award winning statue. All items are 1 to 1 (actual production size). First item is the original Master Wax head sculpt for the statue with strikingly precise details in the face and hair. Comes mounted on a brass rod with circular base signed by the artist. Next is the fully realized resin Tool Parts used in the production of the statue with all components unassembled with exception of magic lasso. The final piece in the lot is the original 10.5" tall Paint Master prototype, hand-painted by the artist himself and signed on bottom of base. Missing one spear tip and magic lasso. Wonder Woman is detached from base and can be easily reglued. Base has amazing detail with pile of human skulls and a cluster of spears and shield with draped blue cape and is signed on bottom. All items are otherwise NM as produced with any defects being part of the creative process. Created for DC Direct in 2000. The lot also comes with cold-cast porcelain Wonder Woman statue and is 10.5" tall based on Brian Bolland's artwork for the cover of Wonder Woman #72 (second series, March 1993) and for a limited edition of 5000 (edition number 0981/5000) pieces worldwide. NM in original 12" tall signed box.  Bolland's art comes to life with only the 2D art used as the guide to create this 3D masterpiece. An award winning sculpture from the archives of sculptor extraordinaire Tim Bruckner and comes with COA.
