Item Description
12.5" dia. by 8" tall w/original glass pane mounted in lid for store display of "Cheese Chips" as noted by aged paper label on front of tin. Chips were made as part of the Dane-T-Bits line of snacks by the H.W. Clark Biscuit Company of North Adams MA. 1940s. Sides of tin feature repeated images of Danish woman in traditional attire holding tray of baked goods. Tin shows scattered wear w/some paint marks and shallow dents. Lid rim shows scattered oxidation as does rim encircling inner glass panel and lid hinge. Moderate aging to chip label. VG overall.
