Item Description
First of the long run of calendars done by Maxfield Parrish for General Electrics Edison Mazda Lamps lightbulb division. While art is untitled on calendar, its name is "Dawn And Night Has Fled." 15-3/8x25.5" wooden frame contains advertising calendar featuring just Dec. page of 1918 calendar pad. Calendar has been professionally framed and French matted to 7-1/8x16.75". Calendar does not feature store imprint, instead having Mazda promotional text block at bottom. Aside from missing calendar pages, calendar shows some lt. scattered wear w/streak of moisture staining along upper left and .75" tear at bottom center. Fine overall but still nice for display as professionally framed.
