Item Description
9.25x12-1/8" sheet of heavy artpaper has pen and ink w/watercolors original art recreation of splash page featured as first page of "Drive-In Duck" Donald Duck story in "Walt Disney's Comics And Stories" #635, published by Gemstone Publishing in Aug. 2003. Art features Donald and his Nephews in car, overlooking run-down drive-in theater that is for sale. Art is by Gladstone/Gemstone Disney artist Patrick Block, who provided the original art for the published story. Block has signed at lower right, adding "Splash Panel - 'Drive-In Duck' - Gemstone WDC+S 635 July" notation along bottom. Exc. and comes w/reading copy featuring the art this recreation was inspired by.
