Item Description
14x22.25" thin cardboard window card for June 29, 1963 concert that took place at the Alan B. Shepard Civic Center in Virginia Beach, VA featuring Ray Charles, "His Orchestra And The Raelettes." Poster was printed by E.L. Warner Poster Corp. and features large stylized portrait image of Charles. Charles was touring in support of his groundbreaking album "Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music." Window card show obvious and heavy wear w/3" vertical tear at upper left top margin, 1.75" tear at upper left margin and chips/pieces missing at upper left/right and bottom corners. Moisture staining along left/right margins w/darker staining at lower right and moderate dust soiling at bottom edge. Charles image has some faint moisture staining but o/w remains clean. Just Good overall. Rare.
