Item Description
11.25x15.5x3" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid showing contents of box. Contents appear complete and were issued by Boy Scouts of America National Supply Service Division, 1950s. Box lid features illustration at center of scout w/three boxes showing various awards, badges and insignias as well as smaller images of "Summer Uniform" and "Leader's Uniform." Box lid has original store price sticker. Lid has one corner split and shows edge wear w/some creases at corners. Fine overall. Contents include - illustrated brochure stressing the importance of Boy Scout uniforms, boxed necktie, "Official Boy Scout Socks," canvas belt (w/Boy Scout logo metal buckle), shorts, shirt (w/embroidered "Boys Scouts Of America" name on breast pocket) and cap w/embroidered "BSA" logo. Shirt has original cardboard collar and tissue paper in place and all is unused, old store stock. NM as issued. Difficult to find unused and complete in this high grade condition.
