Item Description
7-7/8" tall tin robot w/built-in key. Made in Japan by Yoshiya, late 1950s. Scarce, very nicely detailed version w/atomic symbol/missile designs on arms, back has separate piece w/raised details of tanks and gauge. Chest has piston design. Right leg has image of ray gun. Metal wire antenna on top of head and transparent plastic insert visible through eye and mouth openings. Toy works and walks forward, though no longer produces sparks. Missing cone-shaped antenna base piece (replacements readily available online) and robot shows moderate wear w/scattered oxidation to key. Scattered tiny paint nicks/scratches. VG overall.
