Item Description
6.25" tall painted ceramic bank depicts 8 Man (or Eightman), a manga/anime superhero created in 1963 by sci-fi writer Kazumasa Hirai and manga artist Jiro Kuwata. Considered Japan's earliest cyborg superhero, he predates Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009, and was supposedly the inspiration for Robocop. 1960s. Unused, paper label on underside remains intact w/dark sparkle accent. Exc. Scarce.
