Item Description
11x16.25" thin artboard features artist Jose Delbo's pen and ink original art for page 10 of the Feb. 1987 issue of "Thundercats" #8, published by Marvel Comics "Star Comics" imprint. Delbo began his American comics career in the 1960s, working on "Supergirl, Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen" and "Wonder Woman" as well as working on "Transformers." Page features five panels, first panel showing Cheetara and Lion-O talking w/remainder of panels showing Wilykat following Wilykit along aqueduct until he's noticed, causing them both to parts ways in a huff. The Thundercats' Cats' Lair headquarters can be seen in bkg. of second panel. Page has been inked by Al Gordon. Top margin has production notations w/stamped title and inked issue/page number. Bottom center has page number past-over. Top margin has been clipped/trimmed, though not affecting art in any way. Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art.
