Item Description
17.5x22.5" on thin paper stock. c. 1969. Lower left reads "Revolutionary Art By Minister Of Culture Emory" w/Black Panther logo at center and "Custom House, San Francisco" address at right. Horizontal creases consistent w/poster being rolled. Small edge tears that are contained mostly to the wide margins most notable are 1.25" at top just left of center and two intersecting 1.25" tears just to the left of the logo at bottom center one of which extends less than 1/2" into the bottom of the image area repaired w/archival tape on reverse. Displays Fine and will be impressive when framed. This rare and outstanding design is among the most iconic images produced by Emory for the important civil rights group.
