Item Description
4-1/8" tall (6.75" tall to top of raised wire bail handle) tin litho. Made in Denmark, pail originally held food product though we are unsure of the exact kind. Seam has text that reads in part "Copyright Walt Disney Production - Mickey Mouse Corporation" w/Copenhagen listed. Late 1930s. Pail exterior features six different image panels, w/Snow White and five of the Seven Dwarfs, including Dopey riding a bear. Interior shows moderate loss to gold luster finish w/scattered oxidation as does underside of pail. Fine overall. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
