Item Description
Complete set of 20 numbered 9.75x14" thin paper posters that were issued in New Zealand by Allens & Regina Ltd. one per wax pack w/stick of gum. We know of three different wrapper designs (Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel) which include "Wall Poster - Hang Them In Your Room" text. © DC Comics w/various dates, the latest of which is 1979. Numbers and characters include - Batman (two different poses), Wonder Woman (two different poses), Green Lantern, Speedy, Flash (two different poses), Kid Flash, Captain Marvel, Robin, Aquaman, Wonder Girl, Penguin, Green Arrow, Riddler, Joker, Catwoman, Aqualad and Hawkman (all shown online). Scattered lt. wear as originally folded but o/w clean and Exc. overall. A scarce gum issue for which there was no US counterpart and these are only the second time we've offered any of these. Comes w/5-5/8x6-1/8" waxed Wonder Woman wrapper. Scattered wear as folded w/small edge tear. Fine/VF. Something different for the DC collector.
