Item Description
1-3/8x2.75" similar in design to a weight machine card. From a rare 1934 series issued in Cracker Jack and Checkers packages as part of their "Mystery Club" promotion. You were to obtain three different movie star cards, correctly identify them and return all for a surprise souvenir. Each card features portrait photo on front w/text "Write Movie Star's Name Here!" w/blank area below. Back has bio text to help identify the star. 33 cards are known in the set. This lot includes: William Powell, Claudette Colbert, Ann Harding, Elissa Landi, Janet Gaynor. Lt. aging and tiny corner tip wear. All remain unused and EX/NM. All cards in this set are rare and this is a as large a group as we have ever offered at one time.
