Item Description
See previous item #1096. This 5.5" tall by 7.5" long statue depicts Mussolini as a dog, likely a Boxer (or German Boxer given Mussolini's alliance w/Germany during World War II). 1/16" flake to tip of tail appears to be as made and has touch-up. Some minor paint wear w/a few stresslines. Rear left leg has repair to break above knee and rear right foot has repair to .5" toe crack. Still displays Fine overall. Very rare and only example we've seen in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 207 of his book "American Disguise."
