Item Description
3.25x8". Silk ribbon with slogans and design elements galore. At center is candidate portrait flanked by allegorical female figures one holding a sickle and the other a sword. At the base is a dog labeled "Fidelity" referring to Whigs who had stuck with Clay this being his third, and final, nomination. Additional slogans include "The Tried Friend Of His County" and "The Farmer Of Ashland". Overall light even toning of the once cream background and a tiny less than 1/8" hole at the center of the plowing scene at bottom. Otherwise only scattered tiny fabric pulls. VG.
