Item Description
Original 9.5x23" glossy paper sign has large image of Robin at left, pointing to image of Aurora's classic Batmobile model, complete w/small Batman and Robin figures in the cockpit. Promotional item printed for store use only by Aurora Plastics Corp. ©1966 NPP, Inc. Sign features same art that appeared on the second issue model kit. Robin's word balloon reads, "Holy Detroit! The Batmobile Is Here!" and lists original price of 98¢. Sign shows moderate handling wear w/creases and some dust soiling to white margins. Lt. round stain left of Robin's head and sign has three vertical folds. Main image area remains totally bright and glossy. VG overall but still displays nicely as framed/matted. Rare, one of just a few we have offered in our 49 years.
