Item Description
First three buttons are 7/8" and the other 1.25". Group begins with a first we've seen button from 1896 with W&H paper. At center is a smiling sun face surrounded by text "A Pure White Soap/No Rosin-No Chemicals/Naptha Borax." Two tiny age dots by reverse collet but front is glossy Mint. Second with W&H paper from 1898-99 shows beautiful color logo of "Union Self Opening Paper Bags" featuring buffalo head at center. Rare and NM displaying Mint. Next is with W&H paper circa 1896-98. Cello has .75" split along the collet but such a fine hairline as to be practically invisible. Front in great color displays one of the earliest amateur cameras with text reading "'Poco' Takes Everything In Sight." Celluloid is NM displaying Mint. Last is 1.25" with light age on back paper by Chicago maker G. Felsenthal & Co. Front shows young woman in a workman's hat as she holds a telephone speaker to her ear and looks into the mouth piece of the device. Surrounded by text "Chicago Telephone Company/Trusty Service." Celluloid is NM displaying Mint.
