Item Description
15”x20” board with oil painting of famous star Joan Crawford. Text reads “Lux Theater Presents Joan Crawford Mon 9 P.M. CBS.” This piece was done for use in flyers and advertising for when Joan Crawford was on the show. Beautifully rendered deco design in brilliant purple and green tones. Piece is signed in pencil by artist Velma Morse and dated ’39. Piece has some color rubs and dust soiling to surface and a 5” crease in bottom left hand corner which has cracked paint surface. VF with an Exc. appearance. Very visually impressive display for this one of a kind item.
