8.5x10-7/8" 92-page official publication of the NFL. For November 1, 1970 game between the Baltimore Colts and the Miami Dolphins that took place at the Baltimore Memorial Stadium. Front cover has football scene showing Marvel comic book characters advancing toward reader. The Thing carries football. Has 5-page article comparing football players of the era to various Marvel Comics characters. Comparisons include: Chuck Howley/Captain America, Dave Robinson/Black Panther, Ray Nitschke/The Silver Surfer, Dick Butkus/The Hulk and Mike Curtis/Spider-Man, etc. Article was edited by Stan Lee and illustrated by John Buscema. Has some handling wear and aging at margins. Fine. Contents bright. VF.
